Terms of Service
Radiance Revealed Inc.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking with Radiance Revealed. By booking, purchasing, or attending a session, you agree to these terms. If you book for other people (for example a group, party or wedding), you agree to share these terms with every guest before the session.
Radiance Revealed Inc. is a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario, Canada, operating from Waterloo, Ontario. In these terms, "we", "us", "our" and "Radiance Revealed" refer to Radiance Revealed Inc., and "you" and "your" refer to the client.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act or other consumer protection law that cannot legally be waived. If any part of these terms conflicts with that law, the law applies and the rest of these terms continue in effect.
1. Services
Radiance Revealed offers personal colour analysis, body shape analysis, personal styling, personal shopping, wardrobe edits, makeup guidance, hair colour guidance and related image consulting services. These are offered in person, on a virtual (digital) basis, and in group formats, as described on our website.
Our services are advisory and educational. They are provided to help you make informed choices about colour, clothing and personal style. They are not medical, psychological, dietary or therapeutic services, and nothing we provide should be treated as such.
2. The nature of colour analysis and styling
Colour analysis and styling are professional opinions, given carefully and in good faith, based on training, experience and what can be observed during your session. They involve an element of subjective judgement.
- Results are subjective. How colour appears is affected by lighting, time of day, hair colour, makeup, skin condition, tanning, medication and many other factors. Two trained analysts using the same system may reach different conclusions. A different result from another analyst, system or app does not mean your result was wrong.
- Results can change. Your colouring can change over time (for example with natural greying, hair colour changes or sun exposure), and your best colours may change with it.
- No guaranteed outcome. We cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome, reaction from others, or change in how you feel about your appearance.
3. Your purchases and decisions
Any recommendation we give — about clothing, accessories, makeup, hair colour, glasses, jewellery or anything else — is guidance for you to consider. You decide what to buy, change and keep.
- You are responsible for your own purchasing decisions and for the cost of anything you buy, whether or not it was based on our recommendations.
- We are not responsible for the cost of any clothing, cosmetics, accessories or other items you choose to buy, replace or discard following a session.
- Hair colour guidance describes the tones and depths that suit your colouring. It is not a formula or instruction for a hair colour service. Any hair colour you have applied, and its result, is the responsibility of you and whoever applies it. We are not responsible for the cost of hair services, including changing or correcting hair colour.
- Products, brands or retailers we mention are suggestions only. We don't control their quality, availability, ingredients or pricing.
4. Booking and payment
- Individual sessions and services require full payment at the time of booking. Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received and you have received a confirmation from us.
- Group sessions for 2 to 5 guests require full payment for the group to reserve the date.
- Groups of 6 or more, weddings and events are quoted individually. A 50% non-refundable deposit holds your date, and we don't hold a date until the deposit is received. The balance must be paid in full at least 24 hours before the session.
- Room hire and travel are charged as shown at booking or in your quote. Travel within Waterloo Region is included. Travel outside Waterloo Region is charged per minute of round-trip travel time, plus fuel at cost.
- All prices on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable Canadian and Ontario taxes will be added where required by law.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Radiance Revealed does not store your full payment card details. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and late arrival
- Rescheduling. With at least 48 hours' notice before your session, you may reschedule to another available time at no extra charge.
- Cancellations by you. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your session are eligible for a refund, less any non-recoverable processing fees. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session, and sessions missed without notice, are non-refundable.
- Late arrival. We build a 30-minute buffer into every session to help avoid this. If you arrive later than that, your session may be shortened so that the next client isn't delayed, and the full fee still applies.
- Group sessions (2 to 5 guests). Group bookings cancelled with less than seven days' notice are non-refundable.
- Groups of 6 or more, weddings and events. The 50% deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to a new date with at least 30 days' notice.
- Cancellations by us. If we must cancel or reschedule your session, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund, at your choice.
- Digital products. Because digital colour guides, palettes and wallets are delivered electronically and cannot be returned, they are non-refundable once they have been sent to you.
To cancel or reschedule, email erin@radiancerevealed.ca or use the link in your booking confirmation. Notice is measured from when we receive your message to your scheduled start time.
6. Our satisfaction guarantee (colour analysis)
We want you to leave confident in your result. If you are not satisfied with your colour analysis:
- Complimentary re-drape. Contact us within 60 days of your session and we will arrange one complimentary follow-up draping session at our Waterloo studio, at a mutually convenient time.
- Full refund if you're still not satisfied. If, after your re-drape, you are still not satisfied, let us know in writing within 14 days of the re-drape and we will refund the colour analysis session fee you paid in full.
The guarantee applies once per client, per colour analysis session. Travel charges, room hire, and made-to-order products (such as acrylic colour cards) that have already been produced are not included in the refund, unless the product is defective.
7. Other services
Personal shopping, wardrobe edits and other styling services are time-based. Once the service has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong, please tell us promptly — we would much rather have the chance to make it right.
8. Products
Acrylic colour cards and other made-to-order items are produced specifically for you. If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days and we will repair or replace it. Colours on printed or digital materials are representations; they may look slightly different from the fabric drapes used in your session and may vary between screens and printers.
9. Your responsibilities
To get the most from your session, you agree to:
- Arrive on time, or join your virtual session on time.
- Attend with clean, dry, product-free hair and a bare, makeup-free face, unless we have told you otherwise.
- Provide accurate information when we ask about your goals, lifestyle and preferences.
- Tell us before your session about anything we should know to keep you comfortable and safe, such as allergies or sensitivities to fabrics or makeup products, or mobility needs.
- For virtual sessions, join from a space with good natural light and a working camera, following any preparation instructions we send in advance.
If a virtual session cannot proceed because of poor lighting, camera quality or connection on your end, we may need to reschedule, and our standard rescheduling terms will apply. We may decline or adjust any part of a session if we believe it isn't safe or suitable.
10. Intellectual property
All materials we provide to you — including colour palettes, acrylic colour cards, digital swatch wallets, PDF guides, written recommendations and any other documents — are created by Radiance Revealed and remain our intellectual property.
You may use these materials for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reproduce for commercial purposes, teach from, or share them publicly, unless rights to redistribute have been purchased from Radiance Revealed Inc.
Our business name, logo, website content and photographs are likewise protected and may not be used without permission.
11. Photography and media
We may ask to take photographs during your session. We will always ask for your permission before using any photograph of you on our website, social media or promotional materials, and you are free to decline. You may withdraw permission at any time by contacting us, and we will stop using the image in future material.
12. Gift cards and vouchers
Under Ontario law, gift cards issued by Radiance Revealed do not expire and are not subject to dormancy or maintenance fees. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
13. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We do not sell your personal information.
14. Limitation of liability
All obligations under these terms are those of the corporation. Our services are provided by the corporation, and any claim arising from them lies against the corporation rather than against its directors, officers, shareholders or employees personally, except where personal liability cannot be excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the session, service or product in question.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including the cost of clothing, cosmetics, accessories, hair services or other purchases, or lost time or opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights under Ontario consumer protection law.
15. Conduct
We are committed to providing a respectful, welcoming and inclusive service to every client. We reserve the right to end a session without refund if a client behaves in a manner that is abusive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise unacceptable.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.
17. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute arising from these terms or from our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
